Performance Notes'The Duchess of York attended the jubilee festival of the Church of England Waifs and Strays Society at the Albert Hall yesterday afternoon. About 8,000 people were present. Her Royal Highness was receievd by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Bishop of London, who joined her in the Royal Box during the performance of the pageant of Childhood, illustrating the growth of public interest in child life since the dawn of Christianity. There were 1,500 performers including the London and Polytechnic Choral Societies and the Brighton Harmonic Society.
