Performance Notes | Dave Green from rural Chatteris, won the vacant European light-weletrweight title when he forced Jean Baptists Piedvache, of France , to retire after nine rounds at the Albert Hall, last night. Alan Minter of Crawley, the British middlewight champion, pulled a right-hand punch out of the bag to stop the former Olympic champion, Ray Seales, of the United States, in the fifth round of their blood stained 10 round contest. Kevin Finnegan (Iver) beat Alec Tompkins (West Ham) on points.
