There can seldom have been such prodigality of riches as the presentation last night of two of America's finest folk-singers - Judy Collins and Tom Paxton - in one London concert programme, and the Albert Hall was, understandably, bursting at the seams.
Miss Collins, who has a voice of exceptional purity and power, perfect clarity of diction and phrasing, and rare artistry in the adaptation of her attack to virtually every song she sings, gave a dazzling demonstration of her range.
