Performance Notes | "Boxing at the Albert Hall A Great Fight Stopped Each of the 10-round contests at the Albert Hall last night had an unsatisfactory, not to say, exasperating, ending. Twice it was an injury that brought about the referee's intervention while the issue still was completely open. On the other occassion the referee thought he saw a low blow and declared an American visitor, Wesley Ramey, disqualified." (The Times, 22 January 1935, page 6) |
