Performance Notes"General Booth will preside this evening at a demonstration in the Albert Hall to illuminate the war activities of the Salvation Army...The scenes at the Albert Hall to-night will illustrate the ambulance and hospital equipment, the Salvation Army military hut, and communal kitchens at home."

The event preceded the flag-day collections in London on Friday and Saturday on behalf of the war work of the Salvation Army. A contribution of £100 to the Salvation Army was donated by the King and a message sent by Sir Douglas Haig.
