Princess Elizabeth received purses for the Y.W.C.A. War and National Service Fund amounting to more than £45,000. She was welcomed by the Mayor of Westminster, Lady Proctor, vice-president, YW.C.A. of Great Britain and chairman of the Appeal Committee, and Mrs Churchill, president, Y.W.C.A. War and National Service Fund."
