Performance NotesThis was the last concert of the season at the Hall due to the danger from V-1 bombs during WWII. The Proms transferred to The Bedford Corn Exchange for the rest of the season. This was also the last Promenade Concert at the Royal Albert Hall for Sir Henry Wood.
