"Princess Arthur of Connaught opened at the Albert Hall yesterday a bazaar and Christmas Fair organised by Our Dumb Friend's League. She was received by Lord Lonsdale and the members of the executive committee.
A bouquet was presented to the Princess by Lady Smith-Dorrien's little son, and Mme Ada Crossley sang the National Anthem. Princess Arthur afterwards went round the stalls. Girl Guides formed an escort. A special feature of the fair is the exhibition of historical costumes, antique dolls, and toys, comprised in the collection of Miss Clara Millard."
