Performance NotesThis event consisted of an evening of music and comedy to raise money for Save the Children and the Ethiopia Famine Relief Fund.

This event acted as a launch party for the song 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in reaction to the 1983-1985 famine in Ethiopia. The record sold nearly a quarter of million copies within two days, on became the best-selling single of the decade.

Pete Townshend was meant to play at this event but cancelled last minute due to recording conflicts.
