The dress code was 'black tie or fashion rocks'.

Guests at the event included Cat Deeley (presenter), Camilla Parker Bowles (accompanied the Prince of Wales), Joely Richardson (actress), Giorgio Armani (designer), Dolce and Gabbana (designers), Richard Gere (actor), Minnie Driver (actress), Joan Collins (actress) Lauren Hutton, Tom Ford (actor), Emilia Fox (actress), Liberty Ross (model), Helena Christensen (model), Karolina Kurkova (model), Natalia Vodianova (model), Jacquetta Wheeler (model), Jade Jagger (designer), Stella McCartney (designer), Mary McCartney Donald (photographer), Mario Testino (photographer), Carine Roitfeld (Vogue), Naomi Campbel (model), Bob Geldof (singer), Michael Madsen (actor), Harvey Weinstein (Miramax Films).

Host Elizabeth Hurley wore one of 19 outfits in the show, as well as 450 carats' worth of diamonds supplied by Chopard. During the night she wore 10 pairs of earrings, four rings, five necklaces and four bracelets, plus a 130-carat oval diamond pendant. Minnie Driver wore a million punds' worth of De Beers diamonds.

The gallery was transformed into a huge dressing room with 84 make-up stations, 72 hairdressers, 62 make-up artists, and 100 dressers.

The event raised £750,000 for the Prince's Trust.

The event was recorded and broadcast on Channel 4 on Sunday 19 October 2003.
