Performance Notes | Seventeen leading fashion houses took part in the 'ultimate fusion of the catwalk and concert' featuring the biggest names in music and 150 models wearing the most fabulous fashion. The event was masterminded by Nicholas Coleridge, the then managing director of Conde Nast and the chairman of the British Fashion Council.
The dress code was 'black tie or fashion rocks'.

Host Elizabeth Hurley wore one of 19 outfits in the show, as well as 450 carats' worth of diamonds supplied by Chopard. During the night she wore 10 pairs of earrings, four rings, five necklaces and four bracelets, plus a 130-carat oval diamond pendant. Minnie Driver wore a million punds' worth of De Beers diamonds.
The gallery was transformed into a huge dressing room with 84 make-up stations, 72 hairdressers, 62 make-up artists, and 100 dressers.
The event raised £750,000 for the Prince's Trust.
