Performance NotesThe Daily Mirror newspaper held the worlds first mini-skirt ball to salute "the Gorgeous Girls of Britain" and to mark 100 days since its started a "Gorgeous Girls Gallery" which aimed to find and photograph one hundred girls The 100 "Gorgeous Girls" were invited to the event as guests of the newspaper, along with celebrities.
Guests included singer Tom Jones, fashion designer Mary Quant and DJ Simon Dee.
