Performance NotesAfter playing the second Tchaikovsky piece, Eileen Joyce collapsed and was carried to her dresing room by the conductor and attendants and given first aid. She was ableto return to take a call at the end of the concert and a friend claimed it her collapse was due to the heat and the effects of a fall from a horse the week before.
