Performance Notes"VINTAGE CAR'S CONCERT PART.
MONTAGU DEBUT.
Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and his wife made their musical debut at the Albert Hall last night, sitting in a vintage car and blowing the horns at the appropraite moments.
His British racing green Bugatti had been specially moved on to the stage so that they could take part with ither musicians, playing rather more orthodox instruments, in a recital described on the porgramme as 'Sinfonia Automovilistica, Opus XK 150."
The concert entitled "Nuts in May" was described as "an up the pole concert of musical parody and sature devised as a tonic for tired music lovers. "It was organised "purely for amusement" by Fritz Spiegel, a London Philharmonic Orchestra flute player."
