| Performance Notes | This was one of three concerts Lata Mangeshkar performed in during March 1974 in aid of the Nehru Memorial Project in Britain. The project aimed to establish a centre for the study of contemporary Indian affairs. On 15 March 1974, the day after the final concert, a dinner was given by the India League, in honour of Miss Lata Mangeshkar and the accompanying artistes, at the London Hilton hotel. The High Commissioner for India and Shrimati Nehru, the General Secretary of the India League were present.
The concert was attened by Krishna Menon, Indian statesman. |
