Performance Notes""PUT WAR OFFICE IN BRITISH MUSEUM".
"Put the War Office in the British Museum." This was the advice given by Viscountess Gladstone to thousands of young people at the Albert Hall on Saturday, when she distributed the awards at the annual prize-giving of Pitman's College.
Lady Gladstone, who is vice-president of the International Federation of League of Nations Societies, described war as senseless and cruel and out-of-date."
