Performance NotesThe event was organised by the Countess of Limerick on behalf of the Soldiers' Free Refreshment Buffets in London and Ireland. The buffets provided free food and hot drinks for soldiers coming from or returning to the Western Front during the First World War and were entirely organised and run by women.
