| Performance Notes | A gala evening of entertainment to raise funds for farmers in need, in response to the Daily Mail's Farm Aid appeal which was a result of the foot and mouth epidemic. The concert was organised by classical music patron, Jackie Rosenfeld OBE.
NFU President Ben Gill said, "I am over-whelmed by the generosity of these people who are giving their time and energy to helping Britain's farmers in their time of need. This just shows how much people care about the plight of farmers."
£275,000 was raised for farmers, including £35,000 from donations collected after the performance.
A reception was held in the Elgar Room after the event for artists to meet the Royal party.
