| Performance Notes | Emily is pursuing her postgraduate degree at the Royal College of Music as a Dasha Shenkman Scholar supported by the Yehudi Menuhin award, studying with Itzhak Rashkovsky. Having won many major Australian violin competitions, she is a regular soloist with the Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania, Queensland and Canberra Symphony Orchestras and recently made her US debut with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Arlington and Garland Symphony Orchestra.
Jennifer Hughes is much in demand as an instrumental duo partner and song pianist. She has performed across the UK and internationally at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Oslo Opera House, St James' Piccadilly and at festivals such as the Moscow Festival and BBC Proms. From
2012-14, Jennifer held the prestigious Gilbert and Eileen Edgar Junior Fellowship in piano accompaniment at the RCM. |
