The teach-ins were to supplement the children's concerts available by appealing to teenagers and older poeple wanting to learn more about music. They were designed to bring them within reach of people living within a hundred miles of London.

Analysis of Rachmaninoff's 'Piano Concerto No.3 in D Minor'. Soloist Sergio Varella-Cid, Portuguese-born now resident in Britain.
