Performance Notes | Enjoy great food, drink and free live music in the Halls Italian restaurant, Verdi. Verdi offers casual dining and authentic flavours of Italy and is the perfect place to wind down, laugh and eat well with friends and family over a bottle of great Italian wine.
The Street-Nelms jazz ensemble formed in 2010 at the Royal College of Music where Toby Street (trumpet), Toby Nelms (piano), Oliver Patrick (drums) and Adam Higgs (bass) all studied. Their mutual interest in jazz was discovered when they first met whilst performing in the RCMs Big Band under the direction of Mark Armstrong. Since then, they have performed at the Swing Unlimited jazz venue in Bournemouth, the Forge in Camden, and the BBC Proms Late series at the RAHs Elgar Room, which was recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. The ensemble specialises in performing their own compositions and arrangements, and plan on recording their debut recording later this year. |
