Performance Notes | Join some of comedys finest up and coming and established names on Friday nights in the Elgar Room. The Royal Albert Hall introduces a new series of Late Night Comedy in the Hall's historic Elgar room, featuring a collection of some of the finest up and coming and established names in comedy, each night will feature three of the best comics currently on the circuit.
David Trent single-handedly failed to make any impression whatsoever on the UK comedy scene since August 2006 until he went to Edinburgh in 2012: David Trent bursts onto the fringe with ballsy, bold and intense hour of inventive, tech-heavy comedy thats smart and dumb in equal measure. Chortle
Starting his stand-up career in 2011, Adam Hess has shown himself to be one of the most exciting new acts in the country, winning the Chortle Student Comedy Award and taking a runner-up place in Leicester Square Theatre New Act of the Year award that same year. He originally became known for his surreal one-liners, however later went on to prove himself as an accomplished story-teller and sketch-writer.
The evening will be hosted by Richard Herring, who has enjoyed phenomenal cult success as a writer and performer and is an innovator in the world of podcasts. Richards Leicester Square Theatre Podcast sees him interview top comedians in front of a live audience and is then released online both as videos and podcasts for free.
