| Performance Notes | The FoBo Jug Band is a London-based acoustic trio that plays country blues and barrelhouse ragtime that is guaranteed to get your feet stomping! Although the Jug is conspicuous by its absence in the band, the FoBos employ a range of modern and traditional American folk instruments (guitars, piano, harmonica, washboard and kazoo) to capture the music of an era that laid the foundations for some of the greatest sounds of the 20th century. With a stonking set of classics by the likes of Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzie and Leroy Carr, the FoBo Jug Band brings a unique and authentic voice to its repertoire. |
