The Sunshine Kings are led by Graham Hughes on trombone and vocals. A highly entertaining band, their repertoire is drawn largely from the small group jazz of the 20s and 30s with a few other interesting numbers from other eras thrown in to spice things up. All played with energy and life in the bands own personal style.
Graham performs at clubs and festivals up and down the UK with many bands and also programs Keswick Jazz Festival. His own band, The Sunshine Kings, has its own interpretation on the repertoire, based on a mix of good humour and respect for the music. This makes them a hit wherever they play. The band is made up of some of the finest musicians in London performing classic jazz. |
