| Performance Notes | Classic FM Live returns to the Royal Albert Hall for another evening of classical favourites. The world-famous Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will be joining us, under the direction of their Principal Conductor Vasily Petrenko - in this, the ensemble's 175th anniversary year. In what promises to be a very special night, the star young pianist Ji Liu will perform Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.2, and 'The Man with the Golden Flute', Sir James Galway, will play a selection of much-loved melodies. As always, Classic FM Live will include spectacular lights and fireworks, and a roof-raising finale to the sound of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
