Performance Notes | Following on from the Music for Youth National Festival in July, eight groupswere commended for their performance and musical achievement at this National Partnership Awards. These awards provided the opportunity for chosen groups to build a relationship with and take part in a special bespoke red letter day experience with a leading arts and education partner.
Representatives from each group came from all over the UK to receive their awards and enjoyed a special reception. The event included a guided tour of the Royal Albert Hall, a photo shoot and the all-important introduction to their award sponsor.
Judith Webster, CEO of Music for Youth, said this special awards reception is a true celebration of the talent and incredible music-making taking place all across the country. Through the National Partnership Awards, Music for Youth is able to broker relationships between a range of arts organisations, professional musicians and educationalists who can support the musical development of young musicians.
