| Performance Notes | One of the most in-demand jazz trumpet players and vocalists in the UK, Peter Horsfall is best known on the jazz scene for his trumpet playing with the Kansas Smitty's House Band & his very own group, Basin Street Brawlers.
Here he presents the Peter Horsfall Quartet, showcasing his highly original vocal style, inspired by the singing of Billie Holiday and the tight swinging small-groups of Nat "King" Cole, Art Tatum and Slam Stewart.
The quartet have burst onto the scene, appearing at London's top venues including Ronnie Scott's, St. James Theatre and the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Expect hip new vocal arrangements of classic melodies, underpinned by an uncompromising swing.
