Each of Hutton’s Free Friday Music performances will be themed around a specific composer, from Gershwin to Brian Wilson, via unique arrangements for piano and double bass. This concert will be themed around American rock band The Doors.

'Alex Hutton is one of UK Jazz’s hidden treasures.'
Ian Mann, Jazz Mann

‘Hutton is a British composer/player with a different take on piano jazz to many of his peers – he loves composition, classical and folk themes, and music that can clothe explicit stories. Hutton’s compositions and his gentle jazz-piano hipness stand tall in their own right.’
John Fordham, Guardian
