Performance Notes | Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the sultry setting of the Royal Albert Halls Elgar Room.
Having appeared at the Hall twice as lead singer of The Cinematic Orchestra, London-born Heidi Vogel is back with her unique vocal blend of jazz, soul, Latin and funk and three-piece band: Ivo Neame (piano), Shane Forbes (drums) and Dario di Lecce (double bass).
Having won the Yamaha National Youth Rock and Pop Award in 1995, Heidis debut solo album Turn up the Quiet came out in 2012. The record has received rave reviews from Jazzwise magazine, Jazz Times, Jungle Drums and has received support from Jamie Cullum and Osunlade, to name a few. |
