The Boomtown Swingalings are a group of young aficionados from London's thriving swing scene. Brought together by a common love of the music of Louis Armstrong, Sydney Bechet, Lester Young and Duke Ellington they play an eclectic mix of jazz from the golden age of swing. Guaranteed to get the joint jumping. Previous engagements by the band and it's members include Londons renowned Candlelight club, Kettners Caberet, regular appearances at the Nightjar, Palais de Danse, Dalston's Pussyfoot and Cakewalk Café as well raucous nights at the Blitz party and Prohibition. |
