This tragic satire is powered by a score that contains some of the composers most extreme and alluring music. The Finnish soprano acclaimed for her electrifying portrayal of the operas heroine, Emilia Marty, at the Met in New York, is joined by Czech musicians including the BBC Symphony Orchestras Conductor Laureate Jirí Belohlávek.
