| Performance Notes | Experience the wow-factor of Orffs most famous work, with a text by medieval monks on the unlikely topics of wine, women and song. The powerful opening chorus O Fortuna will be familiar from several TV commercials, and from the popular BBC Maestro series.
The vast orchestra is balanced by the huge forces of The Really Big Chorus, directed by Bob Chilcott. Dont miss celebrated tenor Neil Jenkins in his depiction of a spit-roasted swan; baritone Jake Muffett as a drunken abbot and a love-sick knight, and soprano Lucy Hall pledging body and soul to her lover.
