| Performance Notes | Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the sultry setting of the Royal Albert Halls Elgar Room.
Award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Julia Biel is blazing a trail on the British music scene blending vocals reminiscent of the greats of jazzs golden age with a uniquely sharp perspective on contemporary life and love. As part of this Late Night Jazz show as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, Julia will be singing original songs from her new album scheduled to be released in late 2016.
A former Perrier Jazz Vocalist of the Year winner, her credits also include nominations for a MOBO Award, an Urban Music Award, BBC Jazz Rising Star award, and featured guest vocals with the Mercury Prize-nominated act Polar Bear on two of their albums.
The EFG London Jazz Festival delivers a mix of world-class artists and emerging stars and takes the music to a massive and ever-growing audience. The 2016 festival runs from Friday 11 Sunday 20 November 2016. |
