Performance Notes | The Corps of Royal Engineers celebrate their 300th anniversary in September 2016, and will mark this very special occasion by cycling from the Royal Albert Hall to the Rock of Gibraltar. They hope to complete their journey within two weeks and will be raising money for charities including Cancer Research UK and the Royal Engineers Association.
Before they set out from the Hall, there will be a reception and press shoot in the Auditorium on the Main Stage with the 9 cyclists, a 30 person Royal Engineers Band and some invited friends and family to bid them farewell. We are extremely pleased to be able to support this anniversary, as the Hall is directly related to the engineers, namely Major General Henry Y D Scott and Captain Francis Fowke. |
