Performance NotesJames Cameron’s 1986 science-fiction action horror film Aliens will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special screening at the Royal Albert Hall, accompanied by James Horner’s score performed in full by live orchestra.

Aliens, starring Sigourney Weaver, is a stand-alone sequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979). Nominated for seven Oscars, and having won two, the film is recognised as one of the greatest action movies ever.

The original and beloved 1986 theatrical cut will be screened while the memorable score, composed by celebrated composer James Horner, will be performed live by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Ludwig Wicki.

Hospitality Packages were available for this event. The Sulaco Cinema Box Package included exclusive hire of a box, alcoholic and soft drinks, and American-inspired food, and cost £179 (Grand Tier and Loggia) or £169 (Second Tier) per person. The 'Every Meal a Banquet' package included an exclusive stalls seat, a cocktail on arrival, two course meal in the Elgar Restaurant and a complimentary drink, costing £159 per person.

At the end of the screening, Sigourney Weaver and James Cameron with wife Gale Anne Hurd appeared on stage as surprise guests as a tribute to the late James Horner, who wrote the score for the film.
