Performance Notes | Since 2000, over 225 bands and artists have played Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, raising over £24 million. Those incredible shows have played a vital role in helping the charity to provide 28 specialist cancer units and over 60 nursing and support staff in NHS hospitals across the UK, making an incredible difference to young people diagnosed with cancer around the country. This year's run of shows will see the 100th performance as part of Teenage Cancert Trust at the Royal Albert Hall since 2000 - that performance being the first of The Who's two nights.
Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall returns in 2017, with Olly Murs kicking off a week of special events for the charity. The singer recently topped the album charts for the fourth time with his fifth studio album, 24 Hrs. He has sold 10 million records and co-presented The X Factor with Caroline Flack, the show that shot him to fame in 2009. This, Ollys first Teenage Cancer Trust show, will be a night of guaranteed entertainment from one of the masters of modern pop.
