Performance NotesBe inspired by theatre’s biggest night as the Olivier Awards with Mastercard come to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in 2017! Since 2012, the Olivier Awards has been staged at the Royal Opera House, so we are extremely proud to host the awards at the Hall in their 41st year. The Oliviers are a mark of theatrical greatness with live performances from the West End’s biggest shows, famous faces, and extraordinary talent; this is a night you won’t want to miss.

Tickets for the Olivier Awards 2017 with Mastercard are available to Mastercard cardholders only. Tickets included a souvenir programme and goody bag.

Dress code: strictly black tie and glamourous.

On 5 April 2017 at 15:00 Jamie Lambert from Collabro streamed a live backstage tour around the Hall on behalf of the Olivier Awards.

A red carpet was laid on the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Steps for VIPs.

The pre-ceremony red carpet event was streamed live on Facebook from 16:30 hosted by Anita Rani, Jamie Lambert and Frank DiLella.

The ceremony was broadcast on television on ITV on Tuesday 11 April 2017 at 20:00.

J K Rowling's 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' came away with 9 awards making it the most awarded nominee in the history of the Olivier Awards.
