Performance Notes | Leading singer-songwriter Jackson Browne returns to the Hall for two dates in 2017.
Jackson Brownes introspective, emotive lyrics brought him to the forefront of Americas folk-rock scene in the 1970s. Since then, releases including These Days, The Pretender, Running on Empty, and Take It Easy, have defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics.
In 2004, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2007 joined the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Actor Dustin Hoffman was seated in the audience. |
