Performance NotesThe ‘God of Hell Fire’ himself, the legendary Arthur Brown, will play the Hall’s Elgar Room as part of the venue’s Summer of Love: Revisited series.

A true cult figure in rock and a 60s regular at London’s iconic UFO Club, Arthur Brown is best known for his chart-topping 1968 single Fire, a song which still gets regular airplay all over the world and has been covered and sampled by the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Die Krupps and The Prodigy.

Over the years he has collaborated with the likes of The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Dickinson, Frank Zappa and Hawkwind. He continues to tour and recently won Classic Rock’s Showman of the Year Award.
