Let the sultry sounds of vocalist Yvette Norwood-Tiger take you to a place where jazz was the most celebrated American music genre.
Yvette Norwood-Tiger performs all manner of jazz standards from great composers such as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and the Gershwins. Her vocal styling and texture is often compared to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
She also performs songs in languages including French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, and has collaborated with artists such as the Cotton Club All Stars, Tito Puente Jr. and the late, great saxophonist David Fathead Newman. |
