Women and the Hall celebrates the women who were instrumental in the fight for womens suffrage, and provides a platform for the women who are shaping our future, through a season of talks, film screenings and performances.
Yusufla is new jazz. Three saxes up front, anchored by bass and drums. The bands original material spotlights their unusual front-line trio of saxophones exploring textural and rhythmic reverberations.
Influences are wide in range, from their namesake Yusef Lateef, to Indian sax maverick Kadri Gopalnath and beyond. |
