Performing at this Free Friday Music concert will be Royal Academy of Music fellow Layale Chaker, a globe trotting violinist, composer and improviser.
Equally at home in classical, contemporary and improvised music, Layale has appeared at a number of arts festivals including Alderburgh Festival, Junger Kunstler Festival Bayreuth and the Lucerne Festival for Contemporary Music.
Fast establishing herself globally, having performed around Europe, the Middle-East, North and South America and Asia, Layale was also awarded the 2017 Ruth Anderson Competition Prize. |
