Performance Notes | Multi-talented, platinum-selling, five-piece musical phenomenon Walk Off The Earth will play the Royal Albert Hall in 2018, as part of the Albert Sessions.
In 2012, the bands 5-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotyes Somebody That I Used To Know exploded on YouTube, garnering well over 35 million views in under 2 weeks. The band has since built a massive following of dedicated fans from around the world, with their organic, independent, sincere and honest original songwriting, cover interpretations and beautifully filmed videos.
The Royal Albert Hall Albert Sessions enable artists who have not previously headlined at the Royal Albert Hall to offer cut-price tickets to fans, and engage with the Halls Education & Outreach programme by offering a bespoke educational opportunity for young people.
The concert ended with a confetti and giant balloon drop. |
