Celebrating pioneering female saxophonists, composers, and bandleaders who were integral in developing their instrument, art and professions, the recital looks at women such as Etta Morgan, Bessie Mecklem, Helen May Butler and Elise Hall a highly regarded patron of early 20th century saxophone repertoire. |
