Martin Longstaffs The Lake Poets will also perform an intimate set. Ticket includes access to the Bands F.C. Exhibition on the Ground Floor Corridor. All attendees will also receive a goodie bag filled with Bands F.C. merchandise.
What Bands F.C. do is quite simple: bands as football clubs. Football clubs as bands. Because music and football just go together. They combine the two by incorporating the worlds most popular bands into the beautiful games iconic club crests. Oasis, The Stone Roses, Wu Tang Clan, Queen, Daft Punk and Beastie Boys are just some of the artists transported into the football realm in this stunning art project, with over 600 designs created since the projects inception in 2018. Bands F.C. first got started in July 2018 and by September their first exhibition opened at The National Football Museum in Manchester before heading to New York, being featured on Match of the Day, magazines, TV and radio shows all over the world. Their next stop? The Royal Albert Hall. They didnt stop at crests either: Bands F.C. went on to make football tops and enamel badges of their designs for charities chosen by Pulp, Suede, The Charlatans, Public Service Broadcasting, Manic Street Preachers and Frightened Rabbit among others.
Guests at the event included J Willgoose (Public Service Broadcasting). |
