Guitar sensation Milo will perform the music of Piazzolla and Rodrigo, star young pianist Martin James Bartlett is the soloist for Rachmaninovs ever-popular Piano Concerto No.2, and The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams will feature the brilliant British violinist Jennifer Pike.
In his 75th birthday year, the celebrated Welsh composer Sir Karl Jenkins will make a guest appearance to conduct some of his most popular music, including Adiemus and the Benedictus from The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.
The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the Crouch End Festival Chorus, all conducted by Michael Seal, for a range of famous pieces, culminating in a lights-and-fireworks finale to the sound of Tchaikovskys 1812 Overture.
