Rising star, cellist Jamal Aliyev is joined by his frequent recital partner, pianist Maria Tarasewicz, for this performance.
Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, Jamal studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and at the Royal College of Music with Thomas Carroll, where he is completing his Masters. Jamal has performed widely in Europe and further afield and in 2017 made his debut at the BBC Proms. Committed to working with and developing younger artists, Maria has already gained an enviable international reputation as a chamber musician and duo partner. |
