| Performance Notes | Impressionist, stand-up comedian, actor, writer and, more recently, pianist, Alistair McGowan joins us in the intimate setting of the Elgar Room, as part of our Love Classical season. After the success of The Piano Album (Sony Classical) and his first tour in 2018, Alistair McGowan is back with this hugely popular show which brings together all his talents. Along with some classical piano pieces from his album, Alistair will also play a variety of well-loved compositions from Glass to Chopin, Grieg to Debussy and John Field to Bill Evans.
Throughout the show Alistair will also share a little about the history of the composers and their work with a few stories of is own, including the trials and tribulations of starting to learn the piano at the age of 49. Expect a lot of beautiful music (with the odd mistake
