Performance NotesThis years’ Festival of Remembrance will be marking 75th anniversaries of the great battles of 1944 and the collaboration and friendship of the British, Commonwealth and Allied armies who fought them. We will also be marking the 100 anniversary of GCHQ and the role of the secret services whose courage and work is so often unknown.

We will remember the men and women from so many different nations, cultures, religions and communities who came together and stood shoulder to shoulder to defend our freedom and way of life.

The Legion hosts the annual Festival of Remembrance on 9 November to commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflicts. (from the British Legion website)
