Performance NotesThe world’s most successful and best-selling soprano, Sarah Brightman, returns to London for the first time in fifteen years. Her new world tour, HYMN: Sarah Brightman in Concert will come to the Royal Albert Hall in November 2019, for one night only.

Often credited as the creator of the “classical crossover” genre, the English soprano and original Christine in The Phantom of the Opera last headlined the Royal Albert Hall over 20 years ago, in 1997. She returns in 2019 for a very special night, accompanied by her band, a full orchestra, choir and special guests.

"She emerged in a billow of dry ice, dressed like something from a Russian religious icon, shrieking piercing notes that made you wonder if she had just spotted the old nemesis the Phantom lurking backstage at the Royal Albert Hall. With a choir going full Gregorian, an orchestra playing with Wagnerian zeal, and a small rock combo thundering enthusiastically, Sarah Brightman was at once ridiculous and magnificent in her first British concert in 15 years."
